I practiced law in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for over 30 years with a focus on small business, corporate, real estate, condominium and franchise law. I also developed and managed many commercial and residential properties; owned and operated a major hotel; developed and operated a non-equity country club; developed condominiums, and built single-family homes.

More recently, I have served as CFO of a lighting supply company, developed and operated a meat business producing sausages, and co-owned and operated an employment/staffing business.
